The Pioneer Eclipse Mean Machine 420BU is a propane-powered, ultra-high-speed burnisher that allows floor care professionals to customize the machine according to their needs. Based on the popular Mean Machine from decades ago, the 420BU is available in four widths – 21, 24, 28, & 40 inches (53, 61, 71, and 102 cm, respectively). Each model includes a standard 12-volt onboard electric starter and clutch. An optional passive vacuum and EcoSense emissions monitoring system is available at an extra charge (an active vacuum comes standard on the 40″ model).
With an 18-HP, 603 cc Kawasaki engine, the 420BU consumes 34 percent less fuel and requires 40 percent fewer oil changes than other machines in its class.
