Compared to solvent-based products, SCOFIELD Formula One Guard-W offers faster drying times, expediting project completion. Treated concrete surfaces exhibit deeper color post-polishing, enhancing water resistance and reducing maintenance costs. When used after treating the substrate with SCOFIELD Formula One Lithium Densifier MP, it further decreases liquid permeability while maintaining breathability.

Application rates depend on the concrete floor's porosity and polished surface profile at the treatment time. Generally, polished concrete requires an application rate of 1500-2000 square feet per gallon (36.7–49.0 m2/L) for each coat. To ensure complete coverage, two coats must be applied before burnishing.
